It’s likely that many South Knoxville residents have memories from a football field just off Chapman Highway. The field is where, during parts of three decades, the Young High School Yellow Jackets played football under the leadership of Coach John L. Clabo.

The old football field at Duff Park on Chapman Hwy. will be named for my father, John L. Clabo, on Sept. 25 at 10:00 am. There will be a pep band there and lot of old Yellow Jackets. I would like to get out the word.
